Loving Memories of My Dear Dad ALBERT EDWARD DOWSETT 8 December 1919 - 23 October 2009 7 long years without you You held my hand when I was small You caught me when I fell The hero of my childhood and of latter years as well Your loving smile and gentle laugh made all the difference in my day Your endless wisdom and timeless advice Always helped me find my way In you there was no equal You were in a class all your own And because of all the love you gave Ill never be alone Every time I think of you My heart just fills with pride And though Ill always miss you, Dad, I know you are by my side In laughter and in sorrow In sunshine and in rain I know youre watching over me Until we met again. Missing you and loving you always Joy xxxx
