OBRIEN JOHN ALOYSIUS Died peacefully at home in Broadstairs, Kent at 5.55pm on Saturday, 3rd December 2011, with his family, aged 80. Beloved husband of Win, much loved father of Joanne, Susan, William and Kate and adored grandfather of Ella, Logan and Grace; Lewis and Anna; Charlotte and Ava; and Isabella, Stephanie and Francesca. Born in Glasgow on 6th August, 1931, son of William and Sadie, brother of Agnes, Matt and Anne. John retired to Broadstairs from Hornchurch, Essex, after more than 25 years in Fleet Street at The Sunday Telegraph. A great character, who will live on as a legend in the family. All family and friends respectfully invited to the requiem mass at 3pm on Monday, 12th December 2011 at Our Lady Star of the Sea Church, 23 St Peters Road, Broadstairs, Kent CT10 2AP.
